Steeger designs horizontal braiding machines for large-volume components used in the aerospace and automotive industries. In our high-precision machines, rigid components are fitted with a braid of fibres made from carbon, glass, Kevlar and other technical materials. Horizontal braiding machine from Steeger are fitted with more than 300 carriers and can process virtually all materials that are commonly used for braids. In many instances, we have come up with machines for innovative products that seem previously unrealisable.
With the right carrier equipment, horizontal braiding machines can also be run with wires, for instance for the production of high-pressure hoses.
